How it started

I was looking at the pictures of our whippet Duke that were still on my camera's memory card, and saw this shot:





My wife had been clowning around with a coat she had bought him when he was a wee lad. It is now little more than a neck warmer.

Looking at the picture, I realized I had seen that pose before, and I knew where:




To make it easier to see the similarity, I put the two together...



... and thought to myself, "Self, I think we have a Concept here."
